Origins, Video Projection, Sand, Sound Responsive Lights, Ocean Soundtrack, Yarn, Polyurethane, Dimensions Vary
This is a video of an installation constructed during a period of existential inquiry. It suggests our origins and questions of the ephemeral nature of life.

A rolling ocean scene accommodates three wombs constructed of yarn, glue, acrylic paint and polyurethane. Each one is wired with pulsating led lights that correspond to a human heartbeat. The heart beat alternates between forms and accommodates audio of the breaking waves in the background.

The viewer enters a small room and walks onto the sandy berm wherein the forms are placed. They are completely immersed in the scene as the audio and video play on a loop.
